THRS was engaged to support the State Government Department across multiple initiatives, aimed at enhancing the HR Business Partner team's performance and HR function's alignment with organisational goals.
From working in partnership with the team to refine their talent management strategy, to equipping them with the tools to effectively lead organisational change – collaboration and capability transfer was at the centre of our services. This multi-faceted approach helped to enhance the team's effectiveness and broader impact, enabling them to drive greater strategic and sustainable value across the organisation.
Key activities
Workshop Design and Facilitation: Conducted a dynamic planning workshops with the HR Business Partner team to assess their current capabilities, identify key priorities for capability uplift, and define areas for improvement across their talent management process.
Tailored Learning Program Design and Delivery: Implemented an extensive learning program tailored to the team's identified focus areas and in alignment with organisational goals. Examples of capabilities targeted within the program included: workforce planning, people analytics, stakeholder influence, leading change and storytelling with data.
Change Management Framework Development: Designed a comprehensive change management framework and supported the relevant capability uplift within the team to empower them with the knowledge, strategies, and tools required to lead successful organisational transformations.
Workforce Planning Capability Development: Provided ongoing workforce planning coaching and capability development support to the team, helping them to embed a robust workforce planning approach across their business areas.

Through this engagement, THRS helped strengthen and future-proof the capabilities of the Department's HR Business Partner team, ensuring they were empowered to excel in their strategic partnership role within the organisation.
